About me

My name is Laurentiu, and I’m the practitioner behind Remember Shiatsu.

I offer traditional Japanese Shiatsu bodywork with a focus on real, lasting support—for your body, mind, and deeper sense of self. My approach is rooted in the belief that healing happens when we feel safe, seen, and reconnected with our bodies.

Over the years, I’ve trained to work with a wide range of physical and emotional conditions, including:

  • Muscle tension, joint pain, and acute injuries

  • Digestive issues, insomnia, menstrual irregularities, edema, poor circulation, and low immune resilience

  • Emotional challenges like anxiety, depression, and chronic stress

  • Chronic pain—especially when it’s rooted in trauma, illness, or deep fatigue

  • Immune-related conditions, including allergies and autoimmune disorders

  • Degenerative illness and complex health conditions

  • Post-traumatic stress, phobias, and deep-seated fears

  • And support for those on a path of spiritual growth, self-inquiry, and connection to their authentic self

Each session is guided by what your body and nervous system need in the moment—always respectful, gentle, and intentional. Whether you come for relief, clarity, emotional grounding, or personal transformation, you’ll be met with care and presence.

Remember Shiatsu is a space to reconnect. To remember your body’s wisdom. And to move toward healing—one breath, one session, one moment at a time.

My work is simple: to help you feel more at ease in your body.

Every session is a clothes on experience. I recommend gym/yoga like attire, long sleeved preferred.

Shiatsu is a traditional Japanese bodywork practice based on the same principles as acupuncture, using gentle pressure along the body’s energy pathways (meridians) to support balance, release tension, and encourage natural healing. It’s deeply grounding, non-invasive, and tailored to what your body needs—whether you’re managing stress, recovering from injury, or simply wanting to feel more centered.

I believe that real wellness doesn’t come from quick fixes, but from reconnecting with your own body’s wisdom. Each massage session is a chance to slow down, breathe, and come home to yourself.
